The Blueprint of Life

A boy presented a blueprint of his life.

He once told his elder: " Elder, I want to carry my blueprint so when  I live on earth, I will  know how to search the purpose of life."

The elder said: " When you live on earth, you will be given a body. You ask for that kind of life, you will be born to a pair of parents who will guide  you to live that life.

You ask for friends who will be faithful to you until the end, you will have siblings.

You will call your parents, your father and  mother. You will honor them because I choose them for you.

You will call your siblings, your brothers and  sisters.  Love them as you love yourself. Protect them and they will protect you. Do not anger them neither be jealous, for a brother/sister is born for a time of adversity.

You will be born not knowing anything. Your mother will teach you how to love and be gentle. Your father will train you to be godly and responsible. You and your siblings are the strength of the family. Your family is your kingdom. Take care of your kingdom for it will only keep growing.

On earth, you will be taught how to survive. Your body will crave for the materials of the world. You will even want to acquire more than what you are suppose to have. The world is controlled by the humans who lie, fight and kill for lust, greed and power. The human race is a sinful race. But if you learn to love and be gentle, be godly and responsible and treat everyone like a brother and sister, you will save yourself from evil. If you live to learn,  you will eventually find your purpose. The body that you will be born to will fail you but if you take heed, you will be able to find the direction back to where you belong, right here with me.

Take care, son. When you become a father, remember that the child you will have is being sent to your care. You are chosen to be the father of that child. Love and teach the child so he will learn to live and find his way back to me."

My Nest

I found a nest and went to lay
I rest my head, so soft and felt good
It sheltered me safe
Don't wake me up, I found solace in a lonely busted place.

I slept and drowned in abundant serenity

I care less of the world with all its wealth unfold
My refuge, you wrapped around me tightly,
You're all that I need
You're my only gold.

Keep me in your nest no matter the weather brings

I promise to take care of you, just don't let anyone in
I'll fix your twigs, when the wind blows hard
I'll keep the grass green when autumn starts
I'll give up my blanket for you when winter snow brings chills,
And when summer comes, we enjoy the sun together as the greens begin to fill.

My nest, I know it's hard to keep yourself still

I'll remain to be strong, I hope you will
And now you tell me so, Today, you know
That when it happens, my love for you flows to an unending tomorrow.

When I'm bond with you, nothing shall interfere.

I will strike my dagger and make that severe.
My nest, though in people's eyes I don't fit
I will never trade you for the most expensive concrete

I love you, you are my snug retreat

I want to get old snuggled by you, your comfort, nothing defeats.
You are a huge part of my life and that you should know
If this is his will may he bestows good with a fruitful tomorrow

Drift of Change!

"Yes! I have changed!! In fact, I will never be how I used to be, because I have changed!"

The moment, you decide to take control of life a.k.a "f^ck off! and let me drive the wheels, you welcome both likely and unlikely experience.

No matter how carefully and beautifully you plan to handle life, there will always be few goof balls that hit you that make you scratch your head and turn around trying to figure out where they came from. One goof ball after another, however it affects you, will cause you to change.

The change is either acceptable or unacceptable to public eye. All you know is that you need the change to keep you psychologically sane momentarily. When you get your grip, you sail through and maneuver change towards the outcome you want to get.

Some give up and let the tide control their fate. A few patiently and diligently learn to swivel against the tide and gracefully move along with the waves. It's during this moment that you discover more about yourself and the potential that you can become. When you are peaceful with yourself, and disconnected to the world, you are giving yourself the chance to be able to connect to the deeper and more spiritual state of your mind. When you reach it, you start to understand the puzzle of life.

Nowadays, with how technological advancement is pulling the people farther to their selves, very few are able to acquire. Some start but never finish. Others try but never achieve it. An increasing number proclaim that they have attained it. While the rest care less about what the #$!@ I'm talking about.

A Skillful Listener is a Brilliant Communicator

Listening, is not only the key to effective communication, it is the ace to persuasion. A lot are confused between hearing and listening. Hearing is simply shutting your mouth and letting someone talk. Listening requires concentration so that the brain can process the meaning of the words and sentences. It is also feeling the person through his words. When you listen, you know exactly how to respond. Being brilliant does not mean how good you are at words or ideas. Being brilliant is knowing how, when and what to say to someone whom you want to listen and follow you. Sometimes even a single phrase can make a positive impact and can close a deal. If you don't know how to listen, don't expect that the person will listen back to what you say. Your effort in your long discussion is just a waste plus you end up getting upset and calling the other person, stubborn, ignorant or stupid. No, the other person is not stubborn, or ignorant! You just don't know how to communicate. You are the one who is stupid!

If you put your response in writing don't expect that the person will finish your two-page letter when your first sentence just blew your entire paragraph away. When you are the one who has an intention towards someone, and you want to persuade and not upset that someone then focus on that someone. How? Here are the basic steps.

1. Know your intention. Your intention should convince and not to upset the person (unless making him mad is ur intention)

2. Tell your intention briefly and nicely. Don't talk too much. Too much adjectives will ruin your intentions. It will annoy the recipient and cause him to ignore you.

3. Let the recipient respond to your intention.

4. Listen to the response of your recipient. (Remember the definition of Listening cited in the beginning of the paragraph)

5. Use his response to come up with a strategy on how to convey your intention and how to win the persuasion.

6. If you have to put your response in writing, read back and put yourself into the recipient's shoes and find out if he will want to read or ignore it. And check whether your written efforts will convince the person or upset the person. If you upset the person, it is not his loss but yours. You just successfully ended future chance of communication. REMEMBER, YOU ARE THE ONE WITH THE INTENTION!

Brother, Follow Your Heart!

Brother, follow your heart!
Let your brain tell you when to stop.
When you follow your heart, you discern fulfillment.
When you follow your brain, you discern achievement.
Either one feels good.
However, the way of the heart yields humility.

If you have an enduring heart,
determined spirit,
fearless judgement,
and strong mentality, don't fear risk.
In your case, risk is your opportunity.

When you know you want it, hunger it!
When you are uncertain, believe you can!
When you believe, fear weakens!
When fears give way, solutions give in!

Never run out of solutions.
Solution equals sanity.
Whatever you do to wherever you go, keep your sanity intact.
Your sanity will keep you back on track.

The Small Fish from the Pond

This is my business. I manage myself. I control my time, my wealth, my investment.
I should learn to play smart and work hard at the same time.
I need to be a people person to win;be surrounded by people who are as hungry as I am.

I want to be SOMEBODY I always wanted.
I can clearly see my potential, otherwise,
I will never feel anything close to what I am feeling towards this quest.
This quest is a process of challenging work in the midst of an adventure.
I exist not to be content but I exist to search my potential.
I will stumble, several times in a row.
That is the point of this quest:
To learn to fight for a dream,
To swallow ones pride,
To learn to get up stronger after a fall and,
To continue to seek the realm of possibility of excellence.
At the finish line, I raise my head and project a proud grin.
Look back and tell myself:
"I took the road less taken but hell yea, it was a bitter sweet ride".

If someone will ask me if I would want to take that road again,
I'd say that road I took can only be taken once,
After that road is the discovery of that potential I thirst to find.
I believe everyone of us has that road, its all a matter of choice and a matter of time.

I was that small fish from the pond who was curious of swimming the ocean.
In the ocean, I saw different fishes, in all colors and shapes.
I mirror myself to those who fearlessly swam miles to grow through experience.
Swimming with them, I see myself growing, expanding to a greater edge of unending potential.
If I persevere, eventually, I will see myself swimming in a school of fearless big fishes.
Swimming forward is the only way, enjoying the process is another.
Until one day, when the years of growth holds still for a moment,
I will smile pondering,
How this small fish from the pond has grown to become a big fish in the ocean.

SOUL vs EGO

What is your goal in life?

Ego: My goal in life is to become a successful career woman, marry a successful

businessman, live a well off life in a beautiful mansion

Soul: My goal in life is to live my passion.

The above Q&A shows the difference between how the ego and soul dictate us.

- The ego sees all or nothing/black or white,

while the soul sees shades of grey.

- The ego is scared of failure & creates an illusion of perfection

while the soul seeks knowledge through failure.

- The ego speaks by how she wants.

while the soul speaks by what she needs.

- The ego talks with pride and certainty.

while the soul is uncertain and quiet but always seeking.

- The ego wants people to like her by letting society dictate her way of living.

while the soul is concerned of enriching her spirituality effecting the society

- The ego is trying hard to make herself suitable to the society.

while the soul is humble and earnestly finding her true love and happiness, that is her passion.
